Where Modern meets Classic set up in December 2009, the aim was:
To raise public awareness, understanding, appreciation and enjoyment in architecture. Architecture is all around us, wherever we live or work, architecture reflects our collective values and aspirations and its successful promotion requires the commitment and involvement of everyone. WMMC encourages communities to have a say in the architecture that surrounds them.
